
In a total of 7 days of operations in Honduras in September 2011, the team from The Friends of the Barnabas Foundation accomplished 23 surgeries, including one pacemaker battery replacement, 23 catheterization (cath) lab repair procedures, 9 cath lab diagnostics procedures, and 40 ECHO’s for diagnostic purposes.
The Friends of Barnabas Foundation focuses its work in Honduras, the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Their mission is to improve the lives of impoverished families and save the lives of children in need.
